A closer look at this 1950s Patek Philippe Ref. 2508J, featuring a beautiful gradient-tropical dial. This example retains its honest, unrestored dial and original case.
The Type 1A dial is particularly striking, with its deep, rich engraved enamel signature and outer track, complemented by a blued center sweep hand—a detail less commonly encountered on the yellow and rose gold examples.
This short narrated video offers a closer look at some of the details that make this 2508 special. For a deeper study of the reference, including its dial types, case features and movement, see my in-depth article on the Ref. 2508 here on my site, or on Collectability
Enjoy!
